Spectrum Institute of Applied Technologies (SIAT)

Spectrum Institute of Applied Technologies (SIAT) was established in 2011 to offer aspiring competence-based programmes, which are carefully crafted by expert academicians and industrialist to meet the National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS), endorsed by the Malaysian Government.

SIAT obtained an approval from Department of Skill Development (DSD) under the Ministry of Human Resources on September 2011 and Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) in May 2018. SIAT have qualified and experiences trainers whose expertise will provide students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical hand-on experience necessary to prepare them for a rewarding career in the dynamic and growing field of Engineering industries.

Skill Programme

TVET Certification by Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran -JPK) .

Department of Skills Development also know as Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK), formerly known as Majlis Latihan Vokasianal Kebangsaan (MLVK) is an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources. JPK is responsible for the implementation and supervision of competency-based learning and training. Spectrum Institute of Applied Technologies has been approved as one of the Training Centres by JPK since 2010. The Instituteis registered with Perbadanan Tabung Pembanguan Kemahiran (PTPK) for student financial assistance. All SIAT students will receive a monthly allowance from PTPK.
